About the Provider

Dr. Shashvat Sukhal is an accomplished interventional pulmonologist with extensive expertise in general pulmonary medicine, critical care, and advanced bronchoscopic procedures.

A 2009 graduate of the Armed Forces Medical College in India, he completed his Internal Medicine residency in 2014 and earned his Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago in 2017, followed by specialized Interventional Pulmonary fellowship training at the Medical College of Georgia.

His clinical expertise encompasses robotic and rigid bronchoscopy with stent placement, advanced therapeutic procedures including cryotherapy and argon-plasma coagulation, bronchoscopic lung volume reduction for COPD and emphysema, percutaneous tracheostomy, sleep endoscopy for obstructive sleep apnea, pleuroscopy, and critical care echocardiography.

As a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and active member of the American Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology, Dr. Sukhal is committed to bringing cutting-edge pulmonary care to Gwinnett County and the surrounding communities
