Sankeerth Challagundla, MD

Sankeerth Challagundla, MD, is an interventional pain medicine specialist with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group. He provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for a wide range of pain conditions, with special interests in spine-related disorders, neuropathic pain, and headache management.

Dr. Challagundla earned his medical degree from Kurnool Medical College and completed his residency at Geisinger Medical Center. He went on to complete fellowships in Headache Medicine and Pain Medicine at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He is board certified in Neurology, Headache Medicine, and Pain Medicine.

Drawn to pain medicine by the opportunity to improve daily function and quality of life, Dr. Challagundla takes a personalized approach to care, using both interventional procedures and conservative therapies to help patients regain independence and well-being.

Outside of his clinical work, he enjoys biking, tennis, gardening, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
