Kavantissa Keppetipola, MD

Kavantissa Keppetipola, MD, is a neurosurgeon with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group. He provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for complex conditions of the brain and spine, with special interests in endoscopic spine surgery, minimally invasive and robotic spine surgery, spinal trauma and spinal cord injury, spinal tumors, adult spinal deformity, and complex revision spine surgery.

Dr. Keppetipola earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago and completed his neurosurgical residency and complex spine surgery fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Drawn to neurosurgery by the opportunity to combine cutting-edge technology with meaningful patient relationships, Dr. Keppetipola is passionate about helping patients understand their condition and treatment options. He has a particular interest in endoscopic spine surgery and is committed to expanding access to minimally invasive surgical techniques that can improve outcomes and recovery.

Outside of work, Dr. Keppetipola enjoys hiking, exploring new restaurants, and traveling to learn about different cultures and history.
