Idopise Umana, MD

Dr. Idopise Umana is a provider with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group, specializing in Internal Medicine. Dr. Umana was born in Nigeria and raised in Georgia. She earned her undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech, attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia, and completed her Internal Medicine residency—serving as Chief Resident—at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. She joined NGPG in 2009 and went on to lead Northeast Georgia Medical Center's Graduate Medical Education Internal Medicine program.
