Dr. April McDonald is a provider with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group specializing in Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan, and went on to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. McDonald subsequently completed her Pulmonology and Critical Care Fellowship training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and completed a fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology at Emory University.
Dr. McDonald is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, and Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. In 2022, she also received a board certification in Interventional Pulmonology by the American Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology.
